On the Bubble

On the Bubble

So, I know it's not a great technical pic, but I really like it, and it was a lot of fun to shoot. We were building the braces for a wheelchair ramp by eyeballing them, and lo and behold it came out more level than if we'd measured it! If you look closely (or click to enlarge the photo) you can even see the perfectly placed bubble!

Professor Curry

Professor Curry
Ruth: I took this as the "pet portrait" assignment for class. I believe it captures his personality quite well.

Trumpet:

A Sparkle
I guess trumpets can at least be good for pictures even if for nothing else. :D jk
Ruth: I seem to remember a certain person playing trumpet in the W.H.S. Jazz Band! Trumpets rock!

Little Critter
You Bug Me.

I have no idea what type of critter this is. It sure does look neat, though.

Busted!

Ruth: (In response to Adrienne's comments on my last post) Caught my photography professor trespassing to get a shot. This pic tied for the highest grade I got in the class...wonder why?

A Good Laugh

Ruth: Captured this pic as I was doing the weekly watering at a friend's house. Their neighbors were thoroughly amused when they walked out to me lying on the lawn trying to take this photo. Oh well, at least they got a laugh out of it :D

Prickly Pear Flower

Deep in the Heart of Texas

Taken with my point and shoot Olympus in Wimberley, TX. This flower was the last of its kind and was eaten by a dear mere hours after I immortalized it in film.

By: Hannah

RUTH: Ah, the infamous "Yellow Rose of Texas!" LOL. Hannah, did you truly immortalize it in film? That looks rather digital to me :D

Great capture! One of my faves.
